A performance art inspired by the mythical character “Burasa” from Tripura folk culture. Burasa signifies a male devil. The term “Holong Burasa,” meaning “the one who eats stone,” is coined to narrate the situation of the exploited nature in the Chittagong Hill Tracts.
The individual and collective consciousness of my region are asleep. Our choices are driven by ignorance, while development grows under the force of the state. We have been used as dead souls until now.
